Digital services & right of withdrawal
Vehicle history reports provided by CERTCAR SRL are instant digital content. In accordance with European consumer protection directives and Romanian GEO 34/2014 (art. 16 lit. m), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium once performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal is thereby lost.
Automatic credit protection
If a report cannot be generated due to a technical error or temporary unavailability of our data providers:
- The credit used to generate the report is automatically returned to your Certcar balance.
- You can use the credit at any time to re-generate the report for the same VIN or to check any other vehicle.
Monetary refunds
If you purchased a credit package and none of the credits have been used, you can request a refund of the amount paid within 14 calendar days of the transaction date. Email [email protected] with your order number and the email address associated with your account.
Refunds are issued within 5-10 business days at most, directly to the bank card used for the payment, through our payment processor Stripe.
